that's twilight babey!

The twilight renaissance is really great and I love how we all agree that everything is gay but I don’t think I’ve seen anyone talk about how therapeutic it is to fully embrace this.

I was hardcore shamed into denying liking twilight in the first place when I was just a kid and it really fucked me up. So much that I’m still not comfortable telling anyone about my interests.

I’m going to say 90% of us know how problematic some aspects of twilight are but as a kid and a non-american I didn’t know most of this and it was just a fun supernatural lovestory to me.

And let’s be real people (mostly men) made fun of and straight up bullied girls who liked twilight because they’re misogynists, they didn’t give a fuck about the racism.

Embracing twilight 10 years later feels like embracing the silly teen girl who I hated for so long. So thanks you guys, I love you!
